Two Years Later

So, today is the two-year anniversary of the New York and Washington terrorist attacks. We’ve spent two years being scared (but we have duct tape!) and I’m not sure things are better.

Maybe it’s my distance; people in California just don’t seem too concerned about the problems of the East coast — myself among ’em.

I do remember that day, two years ago. Driving to work along highway 101, listening to the radio, amazed there was no traffic. Every couple minutes they’d report another government office which was closed in the city.

I understand what happened, but I also believe The Bad Guys got lucky.
