So, I’ve been seeing Dr.Teraoka over the past six months regarding my back pain. After an MRI, a few prescriptions, and six weeks of physical therapy, the end result is there isn’t much that can be done.
He offered an epidural steroid injection as a form of temporary pain relief. I decided against this procedure, as the potential gain appeared to be both minimal and temporary. If the pain becomes worse I’ll revist this idea.
So, for now, it’s just dealing with the pain; every day. I’m going to put more effort into strengthening and exercise, as it appears weak muscles (lower back/stomach) can worsen the long term pain
